Rakomelo Grapefruit

For today's Friday Cocktail recipe we came up with a refreshing and just-in-time for a Spring cocktail featuring our Rakomelo. Notes of citrus and bitterness from the grapefruit, combined perfectly with red vermouth that brought forward the honey notes from the Rakomelo.

Drinking it with the sugar rim balanced out the bitterness and brought the drink together.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Mastrogiannis Rakomelo
  • 1 oz Vermouth (we used Cocchi)
  • 3 oz Fresh Squeezed Grapefruit
  • 1 Thyme Sprig for garnish 

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker over ice. Prepare a sugar-rimmed coup. Strain into the coup and garnish with a thyme sprig.
